Gunnedah's iconic Chip-Inn fish and chip shop hits the market

The Chip-Inn, a long-standing fish and chip shop in Gunnedah, has been listed for sale through Hennessy Real Estate. The business has been a part of the local community for over 60 years, having first opened in 1958.

Theo Dimarchos and his wife, Patsy, have owned the establishment for more than 30 years. Mr. Dimarchos originally transitioned to the business in 1992 after leaving the commercial fishing industry in Sydney due to changing industry regulations and licensing quotas.

Known for using traditional methods, the shop is now being offered to new owners as the current proprietors prepare for retirement.
