Guns of Eschaton demo released for Soulslike Western FPS

Eschatology Entertainment has released a free playable demo for Guns of Eschaton on Steam. The title is described as a Soulslike first-person shooter set in a dark, apocalyptic version of the 19th-century American South.

Players utilize over 20 different firearms from the 19th century to combat monsters, myths, and occult horrors in a wasteland facing the end of time. The gameplay emphasizes careful resource management, requiring players to account for every bullet used. The game is expected to feature both single-player and cooperative modes.

Published by 4Divinity, Guns of Eschaton is slated for a 2026 release on PC, with reported plans for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The demo was released ahead of the Steam Next Fest in October 2026.
