Guns of Eschaton revealed as soulslike FPS set in apocalyptic Wild West

Eschatology Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for Guns of Eschaton, a hardcore ‘soulslike’ first-person shooter (FPS) set in an apocalyptic, supernatural Wild West. The project, published by 4Divinity, features art direction by Viktor Antonov, known for his work on Half-Life 2 and Dishonored.

The game is set in an alternative version of the American West following a mystical cataclysm known as ‘The Burning.’ This event has transformed the landscape into a haunted frontier filled with destroyed villages, impossible machinery, and mythological creatures. Players control a fragile protagonist who must use tactical combat and careful planning to survive, as the game emphasizes strategic resource management where every bullet is critical.

Guns of Eschaton is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X by the end of 2026.
