Gunther and Cody Rhodes Set for Undisputed WWE Championship Bout with Sami Zayn Referee

After a controversial loss in Italy, where Gunther’s foot was under the bottom rope but the referee failed to notice, Gunther chose Sami Zayn to serve as the special guest referee for the rematch.

Gunther posted a three‑word Instagram video of his vacation with his wife, captioned “No script needed.” WWE Hall‑of‑Famer Bully Ray said he would love to see a surprise twist, noting, “I would love to see something happen that shocked everybody,” and speculated that Zayn could turn on Rhodes.
