Gunungkidul and Kulonprogo announce driver's license services

Police departments in Gunungkidul and Kulonprogo have announced driver's license (SIM) service schedules for Saturday, September 12, 2026, to facilitate administrative renewals for residents.

In Gunungkidul, services are available at the Ponjong Polsek Mako starting at 09:00 WIB, the Satpas Polres Gunungkidul building from 08:00 to 10:00 WIB, and a 'Saturday Night Service' at the Argosari Pasar parking area starting at 19:00 WIB. Applicants must provide an original KTP, a valid old SIM, a medical certificate, and a psychological test result.

In Kulonprogo, the Satpas 1450 building will operate from 08:00 to 11:00 WIB. Additionally, the 'Simenor' (Mobile SIM service for late afternoon and evening) will be available in front of the Kulonprogo Regional Government Office from 18:00 to 21:00 WIB. Requirements for Kulonprogo applicants are identical to those in Gunungkidul.

Renewal fees are set at Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C, excluding medical and psychological testing costs. New license applications must be processed directly at the respective Satpas buildings.
