Gunungkidul collects Rp21.7 billion in property tax

Gunungkidul has collected Rp21.7 billion in Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) as of September 24, 2026. The Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BKAD) is intensifying collection efforts ahead of the September 30 deadline.

To reach the annual target of Rp27 billion, BKAD is deploying teams to villages with low payment rates. Currently, 39 villages in Gunungkidul have fully settled their PBB payments. The local government plans to provide incentives to these villages as appreciation for their assistance in driving tax compliance.
