Gunungkidul Police announce August 2026 driving license service schedule

The Gunungkidul Police (Polres Gunungkidul) has released the official driving license (SIM) extension service schedule for August 2026. To improve accessibility for residents, particularly in rural areas, several mobile and specialized service programs have been established.

Key services include the SIMMADE program, held on Tuesdays at Balai Kalurahan Wiladeg and Thursdays at Balai Kalurahan Siraman. Other mobile options include SIMPITU at Toserba Sambipitu on Wednesdays, SIM Station at Terminal Dhaksinarga on Fridays, and regular SIM Keliling services at Polsek Ponjong on August 8 and the Rongkop District Office on August 22.

For those unable to visit during standard hours, a ‘Saturday Night Service’ is available every Saturday starting at 19:00 WIB at the Argosari Pasar Wonosari parking area. These services are specifically for renewing active Type A and Type C licenses; expired licenses must be processed as new applications at the Satpas office.
