Guri City hosts 10th Nara Sarang Drawing Festival awards
Guri City held the 10th Nara Sarang Drawing Festival awards ceremony at the city hall auditorium, organized by the Guri City Daycare Association. The event, which began in 2016, aims to encourage children to reflect on patriotism and the importance of peace.
Approximately 1,300 daycare children participated in the drawing festival held at Jangja Lake Park on June 9. Following a review of creativity and completeness, 100 outstanding works were selected. Award recipients received honors including the Guri Mayor Award, the Guri City Council Chairperson Award, and National Assembly Member Awards. The winning artworks are currently on display on the first floor of Guri City Hall for public viewing.
In addition to the festival, Guri City recently concluded the third session of its Hairdressing Technology Academy for small-scale beauty business owners. The program provided practical training in modern hair styling and business management to support local entrepreneurs. The city also hosted a mandatory training session for approximately 350 real estate agents to promote transparent brokerage practices and prevent transaction accidents.
