Gurnoor Brar aims for all-format status following mentorship from senior Indian pacers

Indian pacer Gurnoor Brar has expressed his ambition to become an all-format bowler after gaining experience alongside senior teammates Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. Brar noted that observing the preparation and consistency of senior bowlers, as well as receiving guidance from head coach Gautam Gambhir and bowling coach Morne Morkel, has helped him refine his length and tactical approach.

Brar, who has played six ODIs and taken 11 wickets, emphasized the importance of mental fortitude. He stated that his goal is to maintain a mindset where batters feel they are ‘not in the game’ regardless of pitch conditions. He highlighted that performing well on slow wickets, such as during his recent stint with India A against Sri Lanka A, has bolstered his confidence in his ability to bowl effectively on any surface.
