Gurugram hosts ‘The Unity Run’ to celebrate Independence Day

The Chintels Group hosted ‘The Unity Run’, an 11-km community event themed ‘Celebrate Freedom, Run for Unity’, to mark the 80th Independence Day in Gurugram, India. The event drew approximately 200 participants aged 18 and older from various residential communities, including Chintels Serenity, Sobha International City, and ATS Kokoon.

Participants used the STRAVA app to track their routes as part of a digital community-led fitness initiative. The run was flagged off from Chintels Serenity. Ajay Kumar secured first place, followed by Virender in second and Harshul Malik in third. Prizes for the top three finishers included an iPhone, an iPad, and an Apple Watch, while 20 additional participants received consolation prizes.

To ensure participant safety, the event included an ambulance and personnel from the local police station along the route.
