Gurugram MNC Employee Sanjeev Yadav Found Hanged Amid Divorce Dispute

On a Thursday in the Surath Nagar area of Gurugram, Haryana, 36‑year‑old Sanjeev Yadav, an associate operator at the multinational Denso company, was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan inside his home. At the time of the incident his wife, Manpreet Kaur, was attempting to leave the marriage and had reportedly asked for a divorce. Their seven‑year‑old son was present and recorded the event on a mobile phone while his mother shouted for help.

Police have taken Manpreet Kaur into custody and are investigating whether the death was a suicide or a homicide. The investigation includes forensic examination of the body, analysis of digital evidence such as WhatsApp chats, and review of the post‑mortem report, which is still pending. Family members, including Yadav’s father Ramsevak Yadav, allege that the wife conspired with acquaintances to murder the victim, citing the absence of typical suicide marks and alleged threats from the wife. Authorities say they are examining all angles before determining the cause of death.
