Gurugram police arrest three suspects in illegal arms network bust

Gurugram police have arrested three individuals as part of a crackdown on an illegal arms network. The suspects, identified as Abhay (alias Maular), Jatin (alias Johny), and Sagar, were reportedly planning to carry out a crime in Delhi to create an atmosphere of fear and facilitate extortion.

During the operation, authorities recovered two Chinese-made PX pistols and five live cartridges. Investigations revealed that the suspects were conducting reconnaissance for extortion purposes and were allegedly in contact with associates located abroad.

One suspect, Sagar, sustained a leg fracture after jumping from a flyover in an attempt to evade police. He was hospitalized and will face legal proceedings following his discharge. The police are currently investigating the supply network and the source of the weapons.
