Gurugram police have arrested two individuals, Kalyan Bainsla and Lovneesh, in connection with a hit-and-run incident on Golf Course Road that involved a female motorcyclist, Sia. Following an investigation of CCTV and social media footage, authorities upgraded the charges to include attempt to murder under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The victim, Sia, alleges that the occupants of a white Maruti Ciaz pursued, harassed, and made indecent gestures toward her group before deliberately ramming her Aprilia RS 457 motorcycle. The collision caused her to be dragged along the road, resulting in injuries. Sia has disputed Bainsla's claim that the incident was a mere accident, noting that the driver failed to stop to check on her welfare.

Bainsla was apprehended in Dausa, Rajasthan, while Lovneesh was taken into custody in Palwal, Haryana. The vehicle involved is registered to Manish Singh, an army personnel who stated he was on duty and had lent the car to a friend. Police have impounded the vehicle and continue to investigate the roles of all occupants.
