Gustaf Westman announces Disney collaboration for home decor

Swedish designer Gustaf Westman has unveiled a new home goods and apparel collection in collaboration with Disney. The line draws inspiration from Mickey & Friends, utilizing Westman’s signature sculptural and playful design language to evoke iconic characters through subtle visual cues rather than literal graphics.

Key design elements include the use of specific silhouettes, colorways, and patterns, such as Minnie Mouse’s polka dots or Donald Duck’s bowtie. Early highlights of the collection include a Mickey Tumbler, a black ceramic Mickey Mouse Cup, and a black leather Mickey Mouse Sofa.

The collection will be previewed at a pop-up in Paris on October 30, with subsequent events scheduled for Tokyo and New York in November. The full collection is set to be available for online purchase starting November 15.
