Gustavo Insaurralde appointed juror for Argentina's National Salon of Visual Arts

Cultural manager, journalist and curator Gustavo Insaurralde of Chaco was selected to serve on the pre‑selection jury of the Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, the country’s oldest and most prestigious visual‑arts competition. The 113th edition is organized by the Palais de Glace and the Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación and awards works across painting, sculpture, photography, design and new‑media categories.

Insaurralde, who has long promoted the artistic production of the Argentine Northeast, said his appointment is a source of pride for Chaco and an opportunity to bring a federal perspective to the prize. He reviewed more than a thousand project submissions from across the provinces, working alongside the Bienal Internacional de Escultura de Resistencia, and emphasized the importance of representing regional artistic voices in the national circuit.
