Gustavo Lema appointed as Bravos de Juárez head coach

Argentine manager Gustavo Lema has reached an agreement to become the new head coach of Bravos de Juárez for the Liga MX Apertura 2026 tournament. The contract is expected to run until June 2027.

Lema joins the club following a period of instability, including an interim stint by Salvador Valero after the departure of Pedro Caixinha. The Bravos are currently in a critical position, sitting at the bottom of the standings without any points in the Apertura 2026 season.

The club's management selected Lema due to his previous experience in Mexican football, having managed Pumas between 2023 and 2024, as well as his recent tenure with Audax Italiano in Chile.
