Gustavo Trujillo retains BKB heavyweight title with knockout

Gustavo Trujillo, known as ‘The Cuban Assassin’, successfully defended his BKB Heavyweight World Title at the BKB 58 event in Miami. Trujillo secured his ninth consecutive knockout victory by stopping British contender Mick Terrill. Terrill took the fight on short notice after previous opponents withdrew due to visa issues and other complications, having fought only 72 hours prior to the bout.

In the co-main event, Olympic gold medalist Yuriorkis Gamboa defeated Yesner Talavera via unanimous decision. Other notable results included Alberto Blas retaining his super-featherweight title and Yunieski Gonzalez winning the vacant cruiserweight title with a first-round knockout.

Tyson Fury attended the event to support Trujillo. During the broadcast, Fury addressed speculation regarding his own involvement in bare-knuckle boxing, stating he would be willing to fight if the financial incentives were sufficient.
