Gusttavo Lima canceled VaideBet contract to pursue Will Bank deal
Leaked messages reveal that Brazilian singer Gusttavo Lima canceled his advertising contract with the betting platform VaideBet to prioritize negotiations for the acquisition of Will Bank. The discussions, which began in July 2024, involved businessman Daniel Vorcaro, founder of Banco Master, and were reportedly mediated by former Communications Minister Fábio Faria.
In messages from January 2025, Lima expressed frustration over the lack of progress, stating he had chosen the banking project over his existing contract with VaideBet. Vorcaro responded by noting he was finalizing a large corporate operation but expressed strong interest in the partnership.
The negotiations faced delays that impacted Lima’s professional planning. In September 2024, the singer noted he was in a difficult position because his planned 50-stadium tour was on hold pending the outcome of the banking deal. Lima also proposed expanding Will Bank to Miami to serve Brazilian and Latino communities in the United States. Ultimately, in November 2024, Lima decided to pause the talks due to the lack of progress, later announcing the creation of his own financial ecosystem in March 2025.
