Guy Gardner appears in new clip from HBO’s Lanterns

HBO has released a new clip from the third episode of the series ‘Lanterns’, featuring Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner. The footage shows Gardner visiting an incarcerated John Stewart, played by Aaron Pierre, within the show’s 2026 timeline.

The appearance follows the discovery of Hal Jordan’s body in the series premiere. Showrunner Chris Mundy has previously noted that Jordan’s ring passed to Gardner following his death. The new clip concludes with a message stating, “Redacted by the Green Lantern Corps”.

Nathan Fillion, who has appeared in other DCU projects including ‘Superman’ and ‘Peacemaker’, described his character as a “thread” that helps tie the various pieces of the expanding DC Universe together.
