Guy Katz receives Margot Friedländer Preis for antisemitism activism

Guy Katz, a professor of international management at Munich University of Applied Sciences, has been awarded the Margot Friedländer Preis 2026 in Berlin for his efforts against antisemitism. The award recognizes his organization of over 100 silent marches in Munich following the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel, as well as his leadership in various educational projects and alliances.

Reports indicate that Katz has become a prominent figure in German politics regarding Israel and antisemitism, founding organizations such as ‘Anti-Semitism? Not in My Name!’ to increase visibility for anti-antisemitism stances. While the Margot Friedländer Foundation honors his persistence and courage, other reports suggest Katz is a former spy for the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, a fact that has not been widely disclosed in mainstream media coverage of his political activities.
