Antigua and Barbuda Falcons and Jamaica Kingsmen reach CPL final

The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons have secured a spot in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) final following a dominant nine-wicket victory over the Guyana Amazon Warriors. In Qualifier 1, Pakistani spinner Shadab Khan delivered a historic performance, claiming a hat-trick and finishing with figures of 4/16 to help bowl the Warriors out for just 76 runs. Rahkeem Cornwall’s rapid 49 off 16 balls ensured a swift chase for the Falcons.

In the second qualifier, the Jamaica Kingsmen eliminated the Guyana Amazon Warriors in a high-scoring thriller. Despite a brilliant, unbeaten 102 off 45 balls from Shimron Hetmyer that propelled Guyana to a total of 206, Jamaica successfully chased the target, reaching 207 for 5 with just two balls remaining. Rovman Powell’s unbeaten 40 off 17 balls proved decisive in the chase. The Kingsmen will now face the Falcons in the CPL final.
