Gvidas Gineitis attracts interest from Salzburg and Celtic
Lithuanian international midfielder Gvidas Gineitis has become a primary target for several European clubs as Torino FC considers potential transfer offers. The 22-year-old, who is under contract with the Italian side until June 2029, has attracted significant interest from Red Bull Salzburg and Celtic FC.
Reports indicate that Torino has already rejected a €7.5 million offer from Celtic. While the player's market value is estimated at approximately €5.5 million, Torino officials are reportedly seeking a fee between €12 million and €15 million. Celtic is considering a revised proposal of roughly €10 million plus bonuses to bridge this gap.
In addition to the interest from Scotland and Austria, German clubs SC Freiburg and TSG Hoffenheim have also been linked to the midfielder. Gineitis has demonstrated his capability in Serie A, recording 29 appearances and over 1,700 minutes of play in the previous season.
