Gvidas Gineitis: Celtic interested in Torino midfielder

Torino midfielder Gvidas Gineitis is the subject of renewed interest from Scottish club Celtic. While negotiations did not conclude during the summer transfer window, the Lithuanian international has expressed that playing for Celtic would be an ‘interesting and stimulating’ experience.

Gineitis stated to the Lithuanian outlet 15 Min that while he remains focused on Torino, he would evaluate any concrete offers based on their economic and sporting value. Torino has reportedly set a starting price of approximately 10 million euros for the player.

The transfer situation follows increased competition in Torino's midfield due to the arrivals of Rolando Mandragora and Daniel Bragança, which may impact Gineitis's regular playing time. Celtic had monitored the player since July but had not submitted an offer meeting Torino's valuation before the summer deadline.
