Gävle hosts largest book club featuring Cecilia Klang

Gefle Dagblad and the Gävle City Library are organizing Gävle’s largest book club this autumn. The initiative involves 170 participants who will read Cecilia Klang’s novel, ‘Schimpanserna vid Point Nemo’.

Participants will receive a free copy of the book and attend discussion sessions at Agnes Kulturhus on either October 21 or October 27. The program will conclude with a festive event during the Gävlit literature festival on November 20, featuring an author talk with Cecilia Klang led by Gefle Dagblad culture editor Kristian Ekenberg.

Registration is open from August 19 to September 6. The 170 available spots are divided between 100 slots reserved for Gefle Dagblad subscribers and 70 slots open to the general public.
