Gwalior man arrested for recording objectionable videos of women
Gwalior police have registered a case of harassment against 40-year-old Yogesh Gupta, a water plant operator, following a complaint from a young woman. Upon inspecting the suspect's mobile phone, authorities discovered over 50 objectionable videos of women.
Investigations reveal that the suspect targeted widows, divorcees, and unmarried women through social media. He reportedly established friendships before using screen-recording applications during video calls to capture inappropriate content. Police also noted the use of spy cameras. The victims include women from various cities across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, with some identified as doctors, police ASIs, and religious practitioners (sadhvis).
Authorities are currently examining the footage to determine the total number of victims and whether the recordings were used for blackmail or intimidation.
