Gwalior police announce bounty for suspects in Vivek Meena murder

Police in Gwalior have announced a bounty of 10,000 rupees each for the arrest of three suspects involved in the fatal shooting of Vivek Meena, a 28-year-old delivery boy. The incident occurred on the night of August 27 at a food stall in the Anand Nagar area.

According to reports, Meena attempted to intervene in a dispute between three individuals and a street vendor. The suspects, identified as Lala Agarwal, Saurabh Yadav, and Rahul Kirar (also referred to as Rahul Gatta), allegedly shot Meena in the head, causing instant death. CCTV footage captured the incident, and the suspects have since fled.

Following the murder, local residents and the victim's associates staged protests, including a road blockade, demanding swift action. In response, Senior Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh formed six special teams to track the suspects. Police operations are currently active across seven districts, including Morena, Dholpur, Agra, Bhind, Shivpuri, Datia, and Bhopal.
