Gwalior: Woman murdered by father and uncle over lifestyle disputes

In the Dabra region of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a 21-year-old woman named Nandini Yadav was allegedly murdered by her father, Bhagwan Singh Yadav, and her uncle, Santosh Yadav. The motive is believed to be the family's dissatisfaction with her lifestyle, specifically her decision to work at a mall in Vijaypur, Karnataka, her choice of clothing, and her short hair.

The incident occurred in Pathariyapura village. According to reports, the attackers first assaulted the victim's 17-year-old sister, attempting to strangle her before the mother intervened. The attackers then proceeded to Nandini, where they allegedly struck her head against a wall and strangled her to death.

Following the attack, the suspects fled the scene. Local police have arrested the father, Bhagwan Singh Yadav, while a search is underway to apprehend the uncle, Santosh Yadav. Authorities are investigating the incident as a potential honor killing.
