Gwangju Christian Hospital conducts oral health training for caregivers

Gwangju Christian Hospital’s Public Healthcare Division conducted a specialized training session on ‘oral health care in daily life’ for approximately 30 workers from integrated care service providers. Held in collaboration with the Gwangju Metropolitan Social Service Agency, the program aimed to strengthen the caregiving capabilities of frontline workers.

The training, led by Professor Ha Myeong-ok of Gwangju Health University, focused on practical applications rather than mere theory. Participants learned how to manage oral health based on the specific characteristics and health conditions of care recipients across different life stages. The curriculum emphasized easy-to-use methods that caregivers can implement directly in the field to ensure the oral hygiene of those receiving integrated care services.
