Gwangmyeong and Cheongju cities receive national civil service certifications

Gwangmyeong City and Cheongju City have been recognized for excellence in public administrative services. Gwangmyeong City's general civil service office was selected as a ‘2026 National Happiness Civil Service Center’ by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. This certification is based on evaluations of space, service quality, and citizen satisfaction.

In Cheongju, all four district offices have achieved this certification. Following the selection of Seowon-gu District as the newest certified institution, the city's four districts—Cheongwon, Sangdang, Heungdeok, and Seowon—now all hold the designation. The certification recognizes improvements in facilities, such as book cafes and assistance services, to enhance citizen convenience.
