Gwangmyeong City to host inaugural GM TECH EXPO 2026

Gwangmyeong City has announced it will host its first-ever corporate exhibition, the ‘GM TECH EXPO 2026’, on November 20 at the Gwangmyeong Civic Gymnasium. The event aims to create an industrial ecosystem where companies, citizens, and investors can interact.

The city is currently recruiting 30 innovative companies from both within and outside the region to participate by September 22. Eligible sectors include advanced industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and digital health, as well as manufacturing, consumer goods, content, and services. Selected participants will receive free 3x3m exhibition booths and essential supplies.

To support business growth, the expo will offer various programs, including 1-on-1 investment consulting with venture capital (VC) and accelerator (AC) firms, management counseling regarding finance, labor, and taxation, and marketing consulting. Additionally, companies can choose between support for discovering overseas buyers through KOTRA or matching with domestic buyers. The event will also feature interactive programs for citizens, such as stamp tours, to allow them to experience local technological innovations firsthand.
