GWAR announces 20th anniversary reissue of ‘Beyond Hell’

The heavy metal band GWAR is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2006 album, ‘Beyond Hell’, with a remastered deluxe edition scheduled for release on September 25, 2026. The reissue, remastered by Paul Logus, will be available on vinyl for the first time through the band’s Pit Records and has already sold out via the official GWAR store.

This anniversary edition includes a previously unreleased ‘outro’ track recorded during the original album sessions. Originally produced by Devin Townsend, ‘Beyond Hell’ is noted for its conceptual narrative involving the Scumdogs’ journey into Hell to rescue Flattus Maximus, blending thrash metal, heavy metal, and punk elements with dark humor.

To coincide with the release, the band has also premiered an HD version of the music video for their cover of Alice Cooper’s ‘School’s Out’.
