GWM Brazil introduces Haval H9 Selection SUV priced at R$339,000

GWM Brazil announced a new trim for its Haval H9 SUV called the Selection version. The diesel‑powered model retains the 2.4‑liter turbo engine with 184 hp, 480 Nm of torque, a nine‑speed automatic transmission and a reduced‑gear 4×4 system. It is offered exclusively in Zenith Gray and features 19‑inch alloy wheels, a black‑bright front grille, and interior trim in brown Saibro.

Standard equipment includes a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6‑inch full‑HD multimedia screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50 W wireless smartphone charger and a premium sound system, all configured for up to seven passengers. The Selection version is priced at R$339,000.

The launch follows strong sales performance: the H9 recorded 1,220 registrations in May, leading Brazil’s large‑SUV segment, and had previously topped the category in March. The model has been on the Brazilian market for seven months and comes with a ten‑year factory warranty.
