GWM launches Haval H9 Selection SUV in Brazil
Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors (GWM) introduced the Haval H9 Selection, a new trim of its seven‑seat H9 SUV, to the Brazilian market at a price of R$ 339,000. The variant adds exclusive styling elements, including a Zen Gray exterior, black‑gloss front grille, 19‑inch alloy wheels with a unique design, and a brown‑tone interior trim.
Mechanically, the H9 Selection retains the existing 2.4‑liter turbo‑diesel engine delivering 184 hp and 48.9 kg fm of torque, paired with a nine‑speed automatic transmission and part‑time 4×4 drivetrain. Inside, the model features a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6‑inch Full HD infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50‑W wireless charging pad, and a premium sound system, all configured for seven‑passenger comfort.
The launch aims to reinforce Haval’s competitiveness against the leading Toyota SW4 in Brazil’s large‑SUV segment, offering a more upscale appearance while keeping the proven powertrain unchanged.
