GWM Philippines sets new monthly sales record in August

GWM Philippines achieved a new monthly sales record in August 2026, selling 232 units. This figure is more than double the brand’s previous monthly high of 100 units recorded in June 2026.

The growth was primarily driven by the Haval H7, a compact crossover available in various hybrid and plug-in hybrid configurations. Prices for the model range from P1.298 million for the base-spec front-wheel-drive hybrid to P1.698 million for the top-of-the-line four-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid.

Dax Avenido, brand head of GWM Philippines, stated that the sales figures indicate a strong demand among Filipino motorists for vehicles that balance efficiency and performance. To support this momentum, the company is working with its dealer network to improve vehicle availability and plans to open a new dealership in Bonifacio Global City.
