Gyeonggi Province holds sexual harassment prevention training for senior officials

Gyeonggi Province held a special training session on the prevention of sexual harassment and sexual violence for approximately 200 senior government officials on the 20th. The session, held at Dasan Hall, included Vice Governors, directors, and department heads.

Governor Chu Mi-ae emphasized the importance of proactive prevention and manager responsibility to foster a healthy workplace culture. She noted that without regular education, minor issues can escalate into significant incidents. To ensure rapid response and prevent workplace stress, Chu announced the establishment of a direct reporting system to the Governor.

The training was led by Professor Jang Jae-seong from Keimyung University. Gyeonggi Province plans to continue strengthening prevention education, protecting victims, and promoting a gender-equal organizational culture through strict and swift responses to incidents.
