Gyeonggi Province launches policy debates and sports administration training

Gyeonggi Province is implementing several initiatives to improve regional administration and public policy engagement.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Sports Council held a capacity-building training session for approximately 100 officials from member sports organizations. The curriculum focused on modernizing administrative tasks through generative AI, enhancing transparency in public accounting and subsidy settlements, and strengthening safety management protocols for large-scale sporting events. The training aims to foster a more efficient and secure sports environment.

Simultaneously, Gyeonggi Province, the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education have launched a series of 31 policy debates scheduled from September to December. These forums are designed to gather input from citizens, experts, and local officials to address regional issues and educational matters. The discussions aim to translate public feedback into practical policy improvements and institutional reforms.
