Gyeonggi Startup Summit 2026 opens in Suwon

The 2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026) has opened at the Suwon Convention Center, featuring 184 participants, including 162 startups and various related organizations. The event aims to support startup investment attraction and overseas expansion through various programs such as investment consultations, recruitment lounges, and technology exhibitions.

Key highlights include 480 scheduled one-on-one consultations between startups and investors, with 42 international investors from the US, Europe, Japan, and the UK in attendance. On the opening day, investment agreements totaling approximately 40.9 billion KRW were announced involving companies such as Flex Space and Plai.

Governor Chu Mi-ae stated that Gyeonggi Province will support corporate innovation by addressing regulatory hurdles and facilitating investment connections.
