Gyeongju City Wins Fourth Consecutive Korea Top Management Award for Global MICE Leadership

Gyeongju City was honored with the "2026 Korea Top Management Award" for the fourth year in a row, receiving the prize in the Global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) city management category. The award, organized by the Chosun Ilbo, recognized the city’s sustained excellence in hosting international events, notably the successful APEC summit held last year.

Mayor Joo Nak‑young said Gyeongju will continue to strengthen its position as a world‑class MICE destination, building on the development of the HICO Convention Center and the integration of cultural heritage sites with tourism and conference activities.
