Gyeongju to host President's Cup Amateur e-Sports finals

Gyeongju will host a series of major e-sports events at the Gyeongju Indoor Gymnasium. The 18th President's Cup Amateur e-Sports Championship (KeG) national finals are scheduled for the 15th and 16th. This tournament, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea e-Sports Association, aims to revitalize regional e-sports and discover new talent. Approximately 1,300 participants from 16 cities and provinces competed in regional qualifiers to reach the finals.

The competition features five titles: Eternal Return, Brawl Stars, FC Online, League of Legends, and the strategic title Puyo Puyo e-Sports. Matches will be broadcast live on the Korea e-Sports Association's official YouTube channel, Naver Chzzk, and SOOP.

Following the amateur finals, the National Para e-Sports Championship will take place from the 21st to the 23rd. This event is designed to expand the e-sports base for people with disabilities and promote physical education. Competitions will be categorized into PC, mobile, and sensory-based sports to accommodate different disability types and characteristics. Various side events will also be held for citizens and spectators to participate in the festivities.
