Gyeongnam Energy receives award for reading-based management

Gyeongnam Energy has been awarded the Excellence Award (Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency Chairman's Award) at the ‘2026 Republic of Korea Reading Management Excellent Workplace Certification’. This government-certified program is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency to recognize companies that foster reading-friendly environments and enhance employee creativity and communication.

The company was recognized for establishing a robust reading infrastructure, including operating in-house libraries and providing both online and offline book support and correspondence education for employees at its headquarters and regional branches. This achievement follows Gyeongnam Energy’s previous certification as a ‘Best HRD’ (Human Resources Development) institution by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
