Gyeongsangbuk-do Releases White Paper on 2025 APEC Summit

The Gyeongsangbuk-do provincial government and Gyeongju City held a ceremony on 29 September at the provincial office’s K‑Hall to launch a 500‑page white paper and a 200‑page photo book documenting the 2025 Asia‑Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit held in Gyeongju. The publications detail the bid, venue selection, infrastructure preparation, economic and cultural programmes, citizen participation, key outcomes, and post‑APEC strategies, illustrated with 349 photographs.

Provincial Governor Lee Cheol‑woo and Gyeongju Mayor Ju Nak‑young highlighted the documents as historical assets that capture the collective effort of officials, volunteers and residents, and aim to share the region’s experience with the rest of South Korea and future host communities.
