Gymnasium am Rittersberg joins Bezirksverband Pfalz partnership

Gymnasium am Rittersberg has become a partner school of the Bezirksverband Pfalz. This initiative is part of a strategic democracy work program designed to engage young people in democratic processes, social issues, and political participation.

The partnership aims to provide students with practical experiences through workshops, discussion formats, simulations, and excursions. By connecting schools more closely with the educational and cultural offerings of the Bezirksverband Pfalz, the program seeks to make democracy tangible beyond the classroom.

School Principal Stefan Weber noted that the partnership offers opportunities to connect political and social topics with concrete experiences. The project is currently in a two-year pilot phase, during which three schools in the Pfalz region will be closely supported to develop new formats for democracy education.
