Gymnasium Großburgwedel hosts free summer concert with student ensembles

On Tuesday, 30 June 2026, Gymnasium Großburgwedel will hold its traditional summer concert under the theme “School’s Out – Music’s On”. Three outdoor stages will be set up in front of the school building, allowing audiences to move between venues. Student groups—including brass classes 5B and 6B, the school wind orchestra, lower‑grade and senior choirs, a rock band, a big band, and a flamenco ensemble—will perform a program ranging from film music to pop, swing and Mediterranean pieces. The event is open to the public, entry is free, and a buffet from the 12th graduating class will be available. Donations are encouraged to support the school’s music program, which is temporarily displaced due to building renovations.
