Gymnast Bahadır Çimen Hospitalized After Training Accident

Sixteen‑year‑old Turkish national gymnast Bahadır Çimen suffered a severe neck injury when he fell onto his neck while performing a pull‑up exercise during a training session in Bolu. He was initially taken to İzzet Baysal Education and Research Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. Following the operation, he was transferred to a hospital in Ankara for further treatment and was placed on a ventilator in the intensive‑care unit.

Medical staff reported that Çimen remains under intensive care and his condition is being closely monitored as he continues to receive treatment for the injuries sustained during the accident.
