Gypsy Rose Blanchard advocates for anti-harassment law following Ken Urker's death

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is renewing her advocacy for ‘Kenan’s Law,’ an anti-harassment proposal, following the death of her former partner, Ken Urker. Blanchard stated she is ‘100 percent’ certain that Urker’s death was not a suicide, though official toxicology results are still pending.

Urker was found dead in his Louisiana home on October 1, his 34th birthday. While local police reports noted the presence of drug paraphernalia at the scene, Blanchard maintains that extreme cyberbullying played a significant role in damaging Urker’s mental health and contributing to his use of unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Blanchard has used social media to highlight the impact of online cruelty, sharing compilation videos of the harassment and doxing directed at Urker. She emphasized that ‘words have consequences’ and continues to use her Change.org petition to push for legislative changes to combat digital bullying.
