Győr Philharmonic Orchestra performs sold-out concert in market hall

The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra held a sold-out concert at the Győr Market Hall, transforming the traditional marketplace into a classical music venue. The event, titled ‘Zenélő piac’ (Musical Market), drew nearly 600 attendees.

Géza Fűke, the director of the orchestra, noted that the performance aimed to bring music closer to people by stepping outside of traditional comfort zones. The program featured thematic works related to the market setting, alongside popular melodies, and was presented by music historian Ádám Bősze.
