György Korda and Klári Balázs announce farewell concert

Hungarian musical duo György Korda and Klári Balázs are preparing for their farewell concert, titled ‘Utol(show) Felszállás’, scheduled for December 19 at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna. At 87 years old, György Korda expressed that due to his age, he feels unable to commit to further arena-scale performances, though the couple intends to maintain their connection with the audience.

The upcoming production promises new visual elements and guest appearances by artists including Róbert Szikora and Viktor Király. The duo is currently refining their setlist, which includes many of their hits as well as new material.

In related news, Nikolas Takács received a perfect score of 40 points on the show ‘Sztárban Sztár’ for his impersonation of György Korda. To assist with the authenticity of the performance, Korda and Balázs visited Takács during rehearsals, with Korda even providing a personal jacket for the performer to wear on stage.
