Güzeldağ Tekstil enters liquidation after bankruptcy ruling

Güzeldağ Tekstil Dericilik Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, a textile company established in the 1960s, has officially entered the liquidation process following the rejection of its concordat request. Operating in the Bursa Yenice Organized Industrial Zone with approximately 14,000 square meters of closed production space, the company employed around 150 people.

A court ruled the company insolvent, finalizing the bankruptcy decision effective June 3, 2026. This ruling has removed all temporary stays and protective measures previously granted to company partners Mesut Güzeldağ and Selçuk Güzeldağ.

The Bursa Bankruptcy Office has announced that liquidation will proceed via ordinary methods. Creditors, individuals claiming rights over movable or immovable property, and debtors are required to submit written applications to the Bursa Bankruptcy Office within one month of the announcement. The first creditors' meeting is scheduled for September 3, 2026, at the Bursa Regional Court of Justice.
