The German daily soap "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten" (GZSZ) concluded a high‑profile murder storyline that saw the characters Zoe and Carlos killed, leading to intense fan reaction. Viewers questioned the plot’s logic, especially the revealed family connections involving Nina, Toni and Robin, and demanded clarification from the series’ producers.

At the same time, several long‑running cast members are leaving the show. Patrick Fernandez (Carlos) and Lara Dandelion Seibert (Zoe) have already exited, while actor Felix von Jascheroff is slated to depart in 2027. Maria Wedig, who plays Nina, hinted on Instagram that she may also be leaving after the storyline’s climax.
