Göztepe Basketball Team Secures ISONEM as Naming Sponsor

The Göztepe men's basketball team announced a naming‑sponsorship agreement with İzmir‑based water‑proofing firm ISONEM. The contract was signed at ISONEM Park Gürsel Aksel Stadium, where Göztepe honorary president Mehmet Sepil highlighted the partnership’s role in promoting and expanding the city’s sporting profile. Sepil noted that ISONEM began collaborating with the club last year and emphasized that the sponsor’s involvement should be seen as a civic contribution rather than a simple commercial deal. ISONEM CEO Erim Kurt will serve as the head of the basketball branch, and both Sepil and Kurt expressed optimism about the upcoming season, aiming for promotion to the top Turkish league. The team, which spent its first season in the league last year, considers the sponsorship a key step toward achieving that goal.
